The Pear Tree Student Union café, in the heart of the University of Worcester’s St John's Campus, was given a new lease of life and vibrant new look courtesy of Crown Trade and it's Colour Specialist team.

Due to the cafe's busy nature and high level of traffic, Crown Trade Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt was the obvious choice for the walls. The product's scrubbable formula means that once cleaned, the walls will return to an ‘as new’ condition, extending the required maintenance cycle.

Crown Trade Fastflow Quick Dry Gloss was chosen to uplift the cafe's metal staircase. Its fast drying and low odour formulation meant that day to day life in the café wasn't disturbed.

The colour palette was created to promote and encourage a social atmosphere. The grey used downstairs creates a relaxing environment, in contrast to the energising teal chosen in the bar area upstairs.
