Kick Out The Can
Calling all homeowners and DIY’ers, Kick Out The Can is back for 2021!
We’re happy to announce that from Monday the 29th of March to Saturday 10th April, you can return any unwanted paint cans to your local Crown Decorating Centre for us to recycle, just in time for the Easter spring clean!
Launched to tackle the issues caused by leftover paint from DIY jobs, Kick Out The Can allows all cans from ANY brand to be brought back either empty or with leftover paint inside of the, completely free of charge.
Once returned to us, our store teams will sort through all cans and package them up before sending them over to NIMTECH, our recycling partner, to be recycled. Here, any paint returned is decanted, and packaging is split between plastic and metal ready to be recycled and reworked into new products.
We’ll then be working with community projects across the UK to donate paint and help brighten those areas in need.
So if a spring clean is in your plans this week, please head along to your local Crown Decorating Centres with any old paint cans where our teams will be happy to help.
